• Via internet? Dedicated B2B connection? Etc?

• What is the type of traffic?
  • Web, SSH, FTP, Telnet, Application, etc?

• What protocols will be used in the connection and will the standard, well-known ports for those protocols be used?

• Approximate number of users / concurrent users / throughput?
  • Has the application / connection been through the Application Network Review Process?

• Does this solution require malware inspection
  • Monitor or Block?

• HTTPS Decryption?

• How do users connect?
  • Existing NAT / VIP?

New NAT / VIP?

PAC File Changes?

Bluecoat Rule updates?

• Firewall rules needed?

• What software client is used to initiate the connection?
  • Is the software client proxy aware?
  • Is the software client capable of authenticating with the proxy?
