Some of the Server System Characteristics to consider

Counter

Description

Processor% Processor Time

% Processor Time is the percentage of time that the processor is executing a non-Idle thread

Processor% Interrupt Time

% Interrupt Time is the percentage of time the processor spent receiving and servicing hardware interrupts during the sample interval

ProcessorInterrupts/sec

Interrupts/sec is the average number of hardware interrupts the processor is receiving and servicing in each second

SystemProcesses

Processes is the number of processes in the computer at the time of data collection.

TCPConnections Established

Connections Established is the number of TCP connections for which the current state is either ESTABLISHED or CLOSE-WAIT.

TCPSegments/sec

Segments/sec is the rate at which TCP segments are sent or received using the TCP protocol.

Process% Processor Time

% Processor Time is the percentage of elapsed time that all of the threads of specified process used the processor to execute instructions.

ProcessHandle Count

The total number of handles currently open by specified process.

Printer QueueJobs

Current number of jobs in a print queue.

PhysicalDisk% Disk Time

% Disk Time is the percentage of elapsed time that the selected disk drive is busy servicing read or write requests.

PhysicalDiskCurrent Disk Queue Length

Current Disk Queue Length is the number of requests outstanding on the disk at the time the performance data is collected

MemoryAvailable Bytes

Available Bytes is the amount of physical memory available to processes running on the computer, in bytes.

NetworkInterfaceCurrent Bandwidth

Current Bandwidth is an estimate of the interface current bandwidth in bits per second (BPS).
