Windows 200x, XP, Vista and Windows 7 – Quick Access to the Device Manager

If you want to quickly access the device manager, create a shortcut on the desktop that point to:

%systemroot%system32devmgmt.msc

Note: See the previous tip for other Command Console utilities you can add as well.


There should be no harm in trying them, but proceed at your own risk.  Add or Remove Programs.

Date and Time Properties

Delete Network Drive

Internet Properties
