Documentation Due Diligence analysis levels

Level 1
Cursory Review of the document making sure that all areas of the PMO template are fleshed out
No reviews for format, quality, or content quality

Level 2
Quality review

Level 1
Plus a review of all paragraphs to make sure they comply only with the information required by the PMO template. More information then required is not factored into the review.  Too little information to answer the requirements of the paragraph is. The document can fail by too little information Incomplete data or data out of synch with the project schedule or SOW are not considered. Milestones missing quality control procedures and risk management issues missing or not thought out.

Level 3
Due Diligence quality review. Fully reviewed for quantity, quality, scheduling inconsistencies, wording inconsistencies or vagueness Schedules reviewed for consistency and proper time frames.

Poor scheduling or scheduling without consideration for know contingencies or factors that impact quality project management are rejected.  Vague wording in paragraphs that do not define the requirements are rejected.  Inconsistency between paragraphs rejected.

Missing or incomplete charts, plans or other required information necessary to fully answer the PMO template.

Inconsistent data or data that appears to be boilerplate with no supporting material that show it to be  Each paragraph in a Test plan or project plan must answer who, what how when and where.
Ambiguous information or information that raises issues of legality – potentially harmful to the vendor or partners.

Testing data incomplete or missing

Schedules not consistent with good project management

Schedules that do not conform to PMO the requirement for form content depth of content, or detail requirements.
